“Just because no one else can heal, or do your inner work for you, doesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone.” – Lisa Olivera
A welcoming space for counselling and healing
Counselling is about having a safe, supportive space to talk, be heard, and begin making meaningful changes. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, I offer compassionate, professional guidance tailored to your needs.
An integrative, client-centred approach
I believe every person’s journey is unique. Because no single method fits everyone, I draw on a blend of proven approaches-choosing the tools that best support you in the moment. These include:
- The empathy and presence of Person-Centred Therapy
- The present-moment focus of Gestalt
- Practical skill-building with CBT
- Resilience practices from Mindfulness
- The compassionate structure of Bereavement Therapy
By weaving these approaches together, we can work practically and deeply: addressing immediate concerns while exploring the wider mind-body-spirit connections that influence your wellbeing.

My Practice & How I operate
My practice is fully accredited through the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP), ensuring professional and ethical standards are followed in every session. I offer flexible appointment times including daytime, evenings, and Saturdays, with options for in-person, phone and online sessions to suit your schedule.
Sessions take place in a private space in Wexford town. The premises are private, comfortable and a safe space where you can talk without fear of judgement. We begin with a conversation to clarify your goals and agree on a path forward. I adapt the approach to suit your needs – some clients benefit from practical tools like CBT and coping strategies, others from deeper exploratory work through Gestalt or Person-Centred methods, and many from a combination of both.
Emergency Sources
If you ever find yourself in immediate distress, help is available from trusted local and national services. Pieta provides a professional support line for individuals struggling with suicidal thoughts, self-harm, or suicide attempts. You can also reach out to Samaritans, who offer 24/7 listening support, or the HSE Mental Health Services for additional local guidance:

- Samaritans – 24/7 listening service
- HSE – Mental Health Supports
You don’t have to do this alone
It’s natural to build protective walls to keep pain at bay. Those walls can also feel isolating. Counselling provides a safe environment to explore feelings, reduce overwhelm, and reconnect to a more balanced, empowered life.
